A note from the founder
I learn the most
when building.

05 / Why I'm building this

It began with
a gap in my own learning.

In high school, I earned a silver medal in an economics olympiad. I can proudly say I am good at learning, and I really enjoy it. In college, I discovered how much I enjoyed building.

In my sophomore year, I built DO Card ↗, an NFC card that helps people block distracting phone apps. With little coding experience, I relied heavily on AI to build the app. But as problems appeared, I realized I was missing the computer science foundations needed to make it reliable.

My coding agent worked as though I understood its decisions, but I didn't. I wished it knew where I needed help—and could offer good material before we moved ahead, while organizing that material into content people could easily digest.

I also learn best through visual explanations. Our ability to understand through sight is a precious gift from our ancestors: visualizing an idea helps us grasp it quickly. This application will rely heavily on visual learning.

Above all, I believe people learn the most when building something from scratch. This application will bring project-based learning and visual learning together.
